Corzone Community Initiatives is a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering positive change in low-income, underserved, and at-risk communities in Houston, Texas. Our mission is to empower these communities through three core initiatives: Community Building, Youth Empowerment, and Economic Development. We believe that by addressing these key areas, we can create a brighter future for the residents of these neighborhoods.
Community Building
We understand that a strong community is built on a foundation of safety, access to quality education, and an environment that fosters growth. Our Community Building initiative is committed to ensuring equitable access to the following:
• Safe Communities: We work tirelessly to create safe neighborhoods where residents can live without fear, allowing children to play freely and families to thrive.
• Educational Resources: Education is the key to breaking the cycle of poverty. We provide resources and support to enhance educational opportunities for all, from young children to adults seeking further learning.
• Neighborhood Beautification: A beautiful neighborhood promotes a sense of pride and unity. We facilitate projects to beautify neighborhoods, creating spaces that residents can take pride in.
• Zoning and Roads: Accessible zoning and well-maintained roads are essential for community development. We advocate for fair zoning practices and better infrastructure.
• Parks and Law Enforcement: Parks provide a space for recreation and relaxation, while effective law enforcement ensures the safety of residents. We work to improve parks and advocate for community policing.
Economic Development
Economic Development: Our Economic Development initiative focuses on creating equitable access to economic opportunities, promoting entrepreneurship, supporting small business startups, and facilitating business growth. We also provide resources for business training and workforce development. Our aim is to build a thriving local economy by:
• Entrepreneurship: We offer guidance and resources for individuals looking to start their own businesses, helping them realize their entrepreneurial dreams.
• Small Business Startups: We support the launch of new small businesses, creating jobs and contributing to the community’s economic vitality.
• Business Growth: We assist existing businesses in expanding and thriving, increasing their contribution to the local economy.
• Business Training Resources: Our programs provide training and education to help individuals develop the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the business world.

Youth Empowerment
Youth Empowerment: Our Youth Empowerment initiative is committed to providing the youth in our communities with the tools and opportunities they need to succeed. This includes:
